LyTec, where noted, is the original El Wire with quality unmatched by any other El wires and the price reflects that and it's expensive. We have searched long and hard for other quality wire to fill in gaps of colors and sizes of wires that LyTec is currently unable to provide.

The other wires CooLight sells are of the next best quality available in consistent uniform color, brightness and most important durability/bending radius. Most non-LyTec wires do not tolerate much bending radius without producing dark spots and/or rapidly deteriorate, these do not. We are pleased and stand behind all the el wires we sell especially the CLEL model wires as the next best options to LyTec. We will not sell wire like an assorted "box of chocolates..."
